Contrast Between Day and Night:
This Surah begins with a discussion about day and night, about life, and about human behavior.
Two Paths:
You are given two options: the path of goodness and the path of evil.
Goodness:
Those who help people, fear God, establish prayer, forbid evil, and do good deeds will have a good reward with God.
Evil:
Those who do evil deeds, those who are stingy and those who disbelieve will face punishment.
Divine Knowledge:
Allah knows the deeds and intentions of every human being. The Surah emphasizes that Allah knows everything that a person does.
Final Judgment:
The end of the Surah says that God has told man that man is responsible for every deed. Man has been given two paths: good and evil.
Structure:
The Surah repeatedly reminds man to refrain from good and evil in order to convey its messages.
Overall, Surah Lail will tell about the consequences of doing good and evil.
